Hey dears,
Is there anyone here who's good at runes (understanding/interpreting and maybe co-relating with other writing systems)? Or can recommend a good book on this subject? I was on vacation for the past couple of weeks so couldn't do any research, but a few days before I left, I had an interesting vision during my meditation (a powerful one because it's stuck in my mind ever since!). It had to do with seeking angel Raziel's guidance. He's always communicated with me through writing and symbols ("my cup of tea" ) - and so far it's always been pretty easy to "decifer" his messages; now, I think the Angel decided to take it a notch higher and moved on to a more ancient language...

Hello oneisall, Ralph Blum might interest you concerning the runes.
I feel if the angelic realm was seeking one to connect with language/symbols your the perfect candidate. Does automatic writing have any interest to you i wonder.
I too am drawn to symbols and ancient script, Theban script is very beautiful, i found myself marking this script on a big sheet of paper which i then placed on my spiritual story board wall its still there and fascinates me as i feel the energetic pulse/vibration radiating from each letter/symbol.
Language of light.............. hurtak

Thanks a lot for the info
To be honest, I have not really tried the 'true' automatic writing, but I keep thinking about it. I do something like a semi-automatic writing every once in a while. I call it "semi-automatic" in the sense that I consciously ask a question and then I'm jotting down the answer I get without conscious analysis at first - only when I'm done writing I read it and think about it.
I've always had some "inclination" towards languages... Up until quite recently I've studied only the latin-based languages (those using latin alphabet). Now I'm also getting a little more into Hebrew (Kabbalah) and- obviously - runes
And yes, I'm into symbolism as well - from the very ancient to modern times. It really fascinates me how much one can "say" through just one picture or drawing!
