Hi everyone!
I now think it's time for me to work with crystals and other stones.
I was hoping to have some guidance on what I should work with first...
Like what crystals would be effective in clearing chakras, negative vibes and space... crystals to aid sleeping and appetite... crystals that are helpful for releasing physical pain... crystals for attracting positive energies, etc.
Any guidance and info would be very helpful.

| Hi Faye, There are many crystals that do wonderous work with their energy.I would suggest you get a book called Crystal Therapy by Doreen Virtue and Judith Lukomski.Just about anything you need to know is in this book.I have built an Atlantean crystal healing table from suggestions of crystals in this book.I have also added a couple of magnets to compliment the crystal energy with magnetic energy with outstanding results.Rose quartz I feel is a must have for the Love energy they supply.Many people feel that crystals are only rocks, but they are really alive and are beings in their own right . Crystals can also be grown at home.If you do some research there are kits for sale with growing tips.As you experiment with different crystals feel their energy and see what is right for you.All Gods Blessings and Love. Oh Gary!
I have been thinking about getting a rose quartz since last month. I have to smack my head on the wall for not doing so. I did a bit of research last night and learned it is very good for healing and as you've said very good for the love energy (which is a major issue for me right now).
It's awesome you have the Atlantean crystal healing table!!!! Hopefully I will have one soon too!

| Hi Faye, If you need some tips on building a table let me know.I will share the things I did.I had a few treatments a few years back from a woman who purchased a table from the estate of a russian man who channeled the directions for building the tables of which he built 7 tables. The tables surface was covered in crushed rose quartz, and surrounded by hundreds of windings of copper wire which were then wrapped around a large clear quartz crystal at the head of the table and the foot end of the table had a large smokey quartz crystal wrapped in copper wire.There was incredible energy on this table and sometimes would be to much to handle depending on your own circumstances.So I made some modifications.My table is 42 inches wide and 7 feet long.In the center I cut a hole 2ft.by 4ft which I had a thick piece of glass cut to lay on and support the weight of up to 300 pounds.Under the glass about 6 inches down I created a wood support to hold a copper pan which is 3 inches deep.Under the crown chackra i placed 1 pound of rough clear quartz,under the third eye i pound of rough Amethyst,the throat 1 pound of Auquamarine,the heart 1 pound of Emerald,the solar plexus 1 pound of Tigers Eye,the sacral 1 pound of citrine,and under the base 1 pound of smokey quartz.The total cost of the crystals under the chakras was less than $70, but the big ones on each end of the table are between 10-12 pounds a piece and range up to $300/piece, but with some research and angelic timing might be able to do better on some prices of the big ones.To fill the rest of the copper pan There is 60 pounds of rough rose quartz surrounding everything.The magnets I used are neomydium magnets1/2 inch by 6 inches which were placed under the third eye and under the heart respectively which seem to be working fantastically.The copper pan was wired on one end to the large smokey quartz and the other to the large clear quartz.Now these are not the only crystals which can be used under each chakra.There are many to choose from.When laying on the table I have 2 rose quartz points.The right hand is pointed down and the left hand is pointed up to directionalize the energy.These crystals are put in the palm of the hand which the palms are facing down towards the table.On the heart chakraI have a rose quartz cut into the shape of a dodecahedron(12 sided) which I place under my shirt so it does not fall off as you drift off.Above the pillow I have a nice clear quartz facing the top of the head.So thats it.Have fun experimenting. I Used crystals before but haven't in a while.
You posted That Those Crystals were good for insomnia. I Had 2 out of three they worked SO GOOD.

Dee & Raj.... make sure the crystals are cleared first... I smeared them with sage and then talk to your crystal... meditate over them and assign them/programme them... I didn't know it before... I had my crystals since Feb of this year and I just programmed them last weekend and its amazing how they connect now...

I have to say again..WHAT A BIG GIANT HELP THAT list of CRystal is.
You got to try them.
I slept so wonderfully last night. Oh..I even had regular dreams. Thank you all very much.
Using that Obsidan for entitys - attachment too is extrmely helpful.
Got voices? Got Sleep problems? Don't use Drugs, use these crystals!

When I cleansen my stones I use herbal waters and stuff to make my crystals come alive. Whatever I feel the crystal needs when I hold it or talk to it. Sometime I use Five Flower Forumla, SElf heal, plus Oat seed, and sometime essential oils to cleasen them.

Hey Raylaj - I'm glad the tips are helping you. Isn't it wonderful to feel and know how amazing the crystals are when you personalize them?... bless them?... programme them? I clear my crystals by smearing them with white sage. I read somewhere not to keep the delicate crystals (depending on each individual crystal) in the hot/direct sun light for too long (I used to do that but I'm going to try burying them in earth from now on) as it loses it color and cracks them from within/inside.

You can also charge sensitive crystals in the moonlight. I clear and charge all of my crystals with every full moon. Two wonderful books that I use to reference are: THE CRYSTAL BIBLE and the ENCYCLOPEDIA of CRYSTALS, both by Judy Hall.
You can also clear your crystals by placing them on a large quartz cluster.
I love my crystals and the crystal pendulums I wear as well...they have brought me so much joy and comfort.

It is all a matter of personal preference. There is no right or wrong way when it comes to crystals. Using moonlight is what currently works best for me. I usually cleanse my crystals and then place them in the light of the full moon every month. I charge them on that one night. Some months, when I feel like a particular crystal needs it, I will place my crystal(s) in the moonlight or sunlight for extra charging. You can usually tell when a crystal needs cleansing, as it has picked up on the emotions of its surroundings (kind of like a fingerprint). This is especially true of crystals that you might wear as pendants. I tend to pick up on the emotions of others, so my pendants certainly become ingrained with any emotions that pass through me. I cannot wear a pendant 2 days in a row without cleansing it, else I feel 'heavy' and my emotions can be turbulent. So, I do cleanse my pendants every day in sea salt and sunlight and or moonlight.
Those crystals that are sensitive to sunlight (amethyst, for instance), I will put in the moonlight to charge whenever it needs it (since I keep amethyst on my night table and I use it more frequently). Sound vibration is another wonderful way to cleanse a crystal. I am saving for a crystal singing bowl tuned to the heart chakra. You place your crystals close to the bowl so that they absorb the pure vibrations of the bowl when you play it. Once I get a bowl I will use this method in combination with the full moon to cleanse my crystals. I hope this helps....

My knowledge of stones and crystals is quite limited... But I do feel the "call" ---
I just got back from Tahoe and was blessed with the opportunity to go to Virginia City (Nevada). On our way back to Tahoe, we stopped by a Chocolate store which sold stones, rocks and some crystals (not the quality you would find in the high-end shops but the quality that gives you the feeling that they're fresh from the mining stations).
And...
This stone/rock just called out to me: Black Onyx.
I don't really know what it's for, but I just can't stop looking at it and just feeling I should get it. So I got one for $6 and it's a good size too.
Then I got a really un-polished small rose quartz which the old lady (cashier) gave to me for free.
Now, I'm researching for the healing properties/use of the black onyx and was amazed:
Black Onyx:
For Releasing The Past
Black onyx is believed to be one of the most powerful protection stones. Its way of doing this is to absorb and transform negative energy. Because of this quality people find it helpful in relieving stress and for emotional stability.
It's one of the first (root chakra) grounding stones; as such,it encourages connection to material goals and to determination in realizing them.
In much crystal literature black onyx is strongly associated to Saturn, and it is said that this stone works most positively for those with a strong Saturn in their natal charts. Although this may include people born under the sign of Capricorn, it's not limited to them.
I mention the above because it's part of the lore about this stone; however, black onyx has another characteristic which can make it valuable to anyone.
It has been said that in India it was commonly worn to cool the ardors of love. Thus it may be very helpful for people who can't let go of past relationships (sometimes even long after they're over.)
The same can be true of any belief which no longer serves one - and they can be as hard to let go of as past relationships. Onyx's value in such situations is that it can help to bring us into contact with our actual realities, and assist us in gradually releasing all that is not in harmony with our present lives.

Wow Faye,
It sounds like that black onyx stone was meant for you. They say that we will 'know' which stones/crystals are right for us. You knew. Now make sure you cleanse and charge your crystal. After that you should program it (whether it is to assist you in letting go of a past relationship, keeping you grounded or protecting you... it is between you and your crystal). I think the rose quartz was anther nice choice for you. It helps us to open our heart chakras, opens us up to love and self love...
