Hello, dear Reiki friends,
I have been attuned to the 2nd level of Reiki. I have not used Reiki on myself or anyone very often.
But for the past few years I've had a major health concern. I am already past menopause. I am tired all of the time. I wake up as tired as I was when I went to sleep.
How can I help myself with Reiki? Can I do it on myself?
Any help you can offer me will be well-received.

Dear mebjk,
Just a few words about Reiki......I have fibromyalgia and went for R I & II just to use it for myself...and it does help me...then I thought why not go for the Master attunement since it was a more spiritual attunement...so I did...
You can Definately use Reiki on yourself !!! There is a CD by Marsha Burack out that I bought the day of my first attunement and I use it daily...It takes you through each chakra and then lets you meditate for some time in the end...it comes with a 2nd CD which is just the music...It is a great beginning to getting yourself back in the swing of things...but, you don't need it to do it...If you like I can send you a private e-mail with some info on how I start my daily meditation and bring in the Reiki etc. ? ( when in the forum if you click on the member name ...you can opt to send a private message ) I can do that if you like... Don't be too discouraged about the being tired all the time...and if you can sleep ...even for a 30 minute period that would be great....If you haven't had bloodwork done for say, anemia...you could do that...but, Reiki should be able to help too.
Do you have pets? If so, you can practice Reiki on them as well....the response is so cool.......I swear my cat sat and looked behind me one day in awe of my guardian angel ( who is huge )...and she didn't freak out like some do....I chuckled watching her...
Please don't get discouraged...we can help you....and I can send you Reiki as well if you wish...

| Dear Dee, I'am interested in Reiki also... I have fibromyalgia also.. And other health issue's.... I have been wanting to go to a healer.. Can you send Reiki to some one? I feel the need to learn this... Where do you buy the cd?? I live in MI. I do meditate.. Thank you for helping us all... God Bless you... Linda

welcome....this is Dee.....I just jumped on the computer to check e-mail and found your post.......I don't have any glasses and am on my way out the door.I'll be back shortly and will bring the glasses in from the car this time.....not doing too bad for someone who can't see ?

Hello again. Dee here...so sorry....was up after 1 in the morning with visiting family...Now back to the subject of you!
So, you too have fibromyalgia? stinks doesn't it ? It has ruled my life for 15 years....but, I am going to get rid of it....somehow....someway.....I became a Reiki Master to use the healing energy specifically for the "F M"......It wasn't my plan to open a practice....when someone you know needs healing or help ....you can't turn your back.......so, I give and/or send it to friends and family in need...so, in answer to your question....yes...I can send it to you and would be more than happy to do so....
Is there any where you can go to learn more about it ? There are places near me where they have like, a Sunday afternoon and local Reiki Practitioners gather and offer free Reiki to people........Like anything else...the more you use it the better you get at it....the intuition comes easier and you feel secure in your 'gut' feelings.
An example of how well it works...I may have mentioned in another forum....I got a phone call from my sister who was in N.H. on vacation.....Her husband woke up unable to move from severe back spasms...and asked if I could send him some Reiki...so of course I said yes......I asked her to give me 20 minutes to allow myself to focus and relax from the '2nd cup of coffee' I was drinking and that then I would start....so I did. an hour or so later she called and said he was up and walking and went to the hot tub and called later again and said he was 'swimming' in the pool.....so, does it work? YES...
The cd I told you about isn't to learn Reiki.....to recieve the gift of healing others you need to take the course with a 'Reiki Master/Teacher'... We do have a Reiki Master/ Teacher in this forum....I do not know what her fee's are. You can pick up a cd like the one I have in any spiritual or new age shop...It is for clearing your chakra's ...which is beneficial to do on a regular basis...It allows you to be centered to recieve guidance and stay grounded etc. You can tap into the universal energy all around you....it won't be the same as Reiki...not as intense....if you would like to know more I will e-mail you?
Now........Let's get down to the reason for this e-mail......I would like to send you Reiki in hopes of relieving as much of the Fibromyalgia Pain as possible.......I find if I do it in the morning and ask for the strength and energy to get through my day ...it works...I have many animals and 2 jobs with children and it takes alot out of me....when I do the Reiki early and ask for the energy to get through my day...I am shocked out much easier my day is..then I start all over again the next morning...
Let me know you got this post....and lets talk about a time to focus on.....I would love to see how it helps YOUR pain.? So let me know.....

This is 7AngelReikiMaster and I would like to say something about the Fibromyalgia. Massage helps a great amount but it needs to be regular and that is costly. As a Licensed Massage Therapist I can attest to that indeed, though you may find a therapist that may give a discount if you continue therapy regularly. Second please please please look into the nutritional side of help. Most conditions and disorders are greatly helped with the proper type of foods. God gave us the ability to heal ourselves and He put the food on this earth for us to flourish. Good clean food not chemical laced foods with pesticides or additives. Again it gets costly to do the good nutrition but it works. Do what feels right for you. There are many varieties of foods that do the same results. So please check this out. Third Reiki is indeed a benifit and if taught properly in Reiki I you will have known that self healing is first and a must. Also as you use Reiki on someone or something the Healing Energy goes thru you to the person or thing and you are recieving the Healing also. So it helps the helper. The more you use it the stronger it gets but also the stronger you get the more you will need a Reiki Master energy level to help you, this I found out but then your energies merge and it is so much stronger for the healing. Now you see here I go teaching Reiki here. I do teach and do all that is needed but all you need do is ask and you shall recieve but you must ask. Dee here...
About the Reiki.....It is SO true the more you use Reiki the stronger it gets!!! Sometimes while writing here in these posts I can feel the Reiki flowing while I am reading ones post which , to me, means that person is in much need for it and that either God or my 'Reiki Guides' are telling me to send it immediately....and I do...I am trusting that He or my guides know more than me and that it will be welcomed on the other end....Would love your opinion on this...this is something new going on with me lately.? I find recently that I am getting better at hearing and feeling some Divine connection and am being told to trust it? Making any sense to you?
My Master/Teacher is having a 'retreat' at her home later this month....a two day thing for a small group of us for very and I mean very little money....I will be recieving a reading a full Reiki Massage and Reflexology....AND foot detoxing......all for $50.00....can you believe it!!! we are also doing drumming and the singing bowls and she has created a Labrynth on her property along with a meditation room with a huge pyramid for sitting in and meditating.......tell me this isn't going to be the greatest weekend in my life ...I am counting down the hours!!! lol
I have told her in the past about how I 'know' in my heart I can heal this fibromyalgia issue....and I will......I believe someone up there is going to show me how so I may be able to show others...I know I have the belief and the faith....I am just missing something they are trying to show me I think......but, I agree with you 100% about the massage and the diet.....most assuredly....years ago before I even knew what Reiki was and hadn't even heard of it before...I went to N.H. to a 'fair' of sorts.....all metaphysical....and recieved a Reiki treatment for $5.00......it was for 15 minutes.....I have to say that that day I forgot to take my afternoon meds because I felt SO good......who would have thought I would come to this place in my life 10 years later!
So, for people out there who are suffering with this...please check into it !! Reiki treatments are a definite aid for the pain....I was even thinking of doing a fybromyalgia Reiki circle for people like me..... Also, like 7Angel said, diet, diet, diet....It is not only crucial for healing.....but, having a healthy diet and water water water to heal the body also 'opens' us up to a more Divine state and you won't believe how more receptive and clear you will become in trying to connect with God and / or angels.....Dairy is a BIG no no when it comes to recieving....I can attest to that!!! plus I think in one of Doreen V's books I read it as well....AND heard it on 'Hay House Radio'....So Angel Reiki Master...thanks for putting the information out there for people ......fibromyalgia is a growing problem for people ....I hear more and more ...especially women are suffering from this every day.......

Hi today to you Dee and all. Thanks for the encouragement and great words of wisdom as you always share. When you feel the need to send Reiki to a person or situation in a posting here all you need to do is ask for permission by the person's higher self if accepted and the healing will take place. The higher self will decide along with the Reiki Guides if the healing is to be. It is always that way. With each distant healing I do I always ask for the permission of the higher self. You can't go wrong that way and then I also with each healing I give I direct the Healing Reiki Energy to go to Mother Earth for all healing needed when done healing the person or situation of concern. That way I always give healings to everything that is needed and the Healing Reiki Energy is not voided it rolls over to another cause. You can send infinite healings also. Reiki is the most wonderful gift one can have. I just don't know how I ever did without it this long. I am like a Healing Power House these days. I'm very interested in Reiki and want to learn how to heal.... ever since I can remember I felt the need to help others.... I do a lot of volunteering and charity but I somehow feel I need/can do more.... I want to especially help children and seniors .... browsing/reading the posts on this site I've realised that I've been self healing myself without knowing I was actually doing it!
Let me share an experience with you'll .....While giving birth to my daughter I had hurt my pelvic (my pelvic didn't set back/close after birth).... I was told that it would take me more than 3 months to get back to normal.... in the mean time I couldn't walk, I needed help to get in and out of bed, I couldn't hold my daughter for more than a minute... I didn't want to take any medication as I was nursing my little girl. I remember feeling this strong energy within me while I prayed and I would concentrate on it real hard and I could feel it tingling and flowing through ..... I would sweat a lot .... I would get drained but later feel a kind of calm/happiness... I remember telling my husband that I will heal myself without any medication/doctors ( he was very worried as we didn't have insurance). I believe I healed myself because I got better within a month.... I was able to move more freely without any support and I even traveled!!
Please help me and let me know if I will be able to learn/practice Reiki.
