Quiet reflex of pain stained memory
Beauty turned sour as death steals birth's jubilee
Sudden thunder of life beating to begin
Shaken, taken, spoiled flower denied bloom
Sunken rage/limp heart/tremor of reverberating haze
Lost eyes with images of what will not be
Birth remembered in death's arms--year after year
Given, gone; atomic blast of evaporating dreams
First gasp of oxygen incomplete
Heart beat fading into oblivion
Near-born/unborn/still born:
Empty specters at the epicenter of hope
No words, no laughs, no visions
One-sided kisses
In the vortex of a jolted hello, goodbye, comeback

| jasandford.... lovely poem... it tugged my heart.... is this your baby or someone you know? may the Divine blanket of love and warmth cover the parents...especially the mother who holds the child in her womb!

Wow...this is really touching. I have had several miscarriages and there have never been words that could describe that kind of pain in such detail. I am sorry for your loss. May God bless you and your baby. The angels are with him/her.
Love and Light,
Kelly
