Hi everyone,
I live in Kennesaw, GA, USA, Reiki II student and volunteer with the Pap911 Rescue and Adoption dog rescue group. Earlier today we received an urgent message from a member in Santa Barabara, CA, USA She was walking a new little 7 pound, 11 year old rescue dog who pulled away from his leash to charge a German Shepherd dog across the street. When Cristine reached them, little King was pinned to the ground with his head in the shepherd's mouth.
Cristine rushed him to the vet to have the puncture wounds stitched up. King may have nerve and spinal injuries, we don't know yet.
Please hold this little dog in your hearts and send as much healing energy to him, Cristine & all the doctors that are working on him.
I am so grateful for groups like this one and for everything you can do for King.

Dear Jodi,
I will surely do all I can for this little love ...how adorable huh...........I am reiki Master and Karuna I and II........I will use all the knowledge I have for this poor animal.......thank God for people like 'you' and those who are helping Christine...please let us know how things are going...thanks for allowing us into Chris's life......dee

| Thank you so much Dee. We've gotten word that although he has several very deep punctures he has no broken bones or vital organ injures. He will have several drains that should be taken out on Saturday & he is to return within 10-14 days to have the stitches removed. King will be on antibiotics & pain meds during this time. Dear Jodi, 7AngelReikiMaster here, and I am sending Healing Prayers and Reiki to both you and this adorable little pup. I am also calling out to AARaphael and AAMichael for healing and protection...Thank you for doing the work that you do, like my own daughter that has been the rescue mission of kitties I know you have a loving heart and you are Blessed by God to do this rescue...and please let us be up to date on the progress of little King for he is mighty even in his little size...Love and Light,

OOPS.....I was calling poor King Christine......sorry....duh..........still the reiki flows...I may get the name wrong but the reiki is all knowing and knows where to go and what to do!!!!!!!
Some help I am huh???????? LOL Keep up the great work Jodi....you are all beings of Love and Light ......God has blessed these animals with you....
Hey to you 7angelreikimaster......so wonderful to see you.........but, How have things worked out for you? we didn't hear from you for a while...we were wondering where you went to and ended up? Things ok hon?

Dee & 7AngelReikiMaster ... thank you for your help & kind words. Cristine sent an update saying that she couldn't get King to eat last night or this morning although he drank a little bit of water. She could usually get him to take his meds by hiding them in canned cat food, but that isn't working this time. With all of his punctures & drains it's really hard to pick him up without hurting him.
Please continue sending energy to him. Actually, I could use a bit myself. I was to have flown out to LA on Tuesday to bring him back to GA then to FL to another foster family. Other things got in the way & it didn't happen. I should have gone. I'm retired from DL so I fly free on my passes.
I'm attaching some photos. He has puncture wounds & drains in his side, his chest & his back.

poor guy....try not to worry about the food though...may take a few days...dogs arent' the type to eat if they don't feel well....I'm not feeling it will be a problem for him...Sometimes just being quiet while healing is good...and he did have water....sometimes they know better than we do what they need...I think he's really being watched over so please try not to worry...He has great angels and guides...(don't we all)...You are a special soul lady....keep up the great work...we are lucky to have people like you in this world..........love dee

Thanks Dee,
one of our other members let Cris know that one of her's stopped eating for about 3 days but did just fine after that. She's staying in close contact with the vet though & they check in on King as well.
I'll definitely let Cris know that his angels are watching over him, I know that will make her feel better. Since he is to go in tomorrow to get the drains out, we'll probably have another update very shortly.

Hi everyone,
I just want to thank everyone for helping little King. He did indeed recover and I am happy to say that he is now in a safe loving foster home in Coco Beach, FL.
Once his injuries healed & was able to fly a member of PilotsNPaws (a volunteer organization of private pilots) flew him from Santa Barbara, CA to Las Vegas, NV to the waiting arms of a Pap911 volunteer. King stayed with them for 2 days until I met them & flew King back here to Atlanta, GA. During his 2 week stay here he was checked over by our vets, given more love, attention and nutritional food. Then his last leg of his trip as we flew to Orlando, FL where his new mom picked him up!
We all appreciate your help in saving this little "old gentleman".
