I normally do not like to talk about politics, but I feel to express my joy in the results of the US presidential elections.
The shift of collective consciousness, the change we've all been waiting for is definitely at hand... Our work has begun.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the campaign.
Thank you to everyone who went out there and voted (Democrats/Republicans - as long as you exercised your rights, you are blessed! One voice counts!).
Thank you to everyone who believed and kept that spark of hope within themselves.
Now, let's all continue praying, working and making our dreams come true! Onward to a peacfeul and loving future! The New World!!!

Faye,
I so agree with your sentiments.I have never been happier to see a canidate win.Its thrilling to be part of such an historic election.I have good feelings about the next four years. We already know he is smarter than George Bush.Who isnt?Oh sorry if that offended anyone.I wont get into politics here either but we all know he should not have won the first time he ran is all I am going to say on the subject.Ok on another note.I keep having the same dream.I dream that there is a diamond on my finger bit sometimes in the dream I take it off and lose it.I also sometimes dream about babies.I can not and dont think I would anyway have anymore children.I love babies and diamonds (lol).Any ideas? My ex never gave me a ring.I never had diamonds. Not like I need them.I told Joe when we first starting dating,I dont need to be spoiled. Its more important being with the person I love I know some guys may say yeah right. Its the truth.I grew up with poor and its ok.As long as the bills get paid.My folks had 12 kids so we had no money. When it was just me and my sister left home my parents could do more.I think Liz and I were lucky. We did have alot more fun than the older kids had.My parents were able to take us on vacation and stuff. My folks were wonderful to all of us dont get me wrong.Their children always came first. My mom worked in this place she hated. As most of the children were moved out my dad always told her then quit. She never did. Finally on the day she had planned too retire she had her first stroke.Life can be a cruel twist of irony. She was planning on statrting her own chore service in town .She was going to run errands and help people who couldnt do things around the house. After her stroke she needed people like that to help her.Now the town in which she lived has a chore service with about 150 employees and clients from all over the trisate area.My mom was actually their first client.Ironic huh?Ok I just got off on another rant.Sorry.One more thing. My dads birthday is coming upon nov.13.He died on nov.12th 1998.We dont fee he has moved on yet.Could we have prayers that he is able to.He doesent really bother anyone. He just seems to be staying around my sisters house.Ok thanks
Godbless

Noone can say if he will be re-elected.I am just so happy he was elected this time.4 more years under the republicans is just a scary thought.Someone said to me today if you want things straightend out in this country elect a democrat.I was talking to a lady today that works at a local bed and breakfast and she was telling me of a man from alabama who was staying there,he is a regualr guest when he comes up.He asked them which canidate everyone up here supports. They all told him Obama. He got really mad and started yelling at them.He said if he got elected the whole south would suceed from the union and there would be another civil war.Yeah he was a little unbalenced.I can not believe in this day and age people still live with such ignorance. We elected the best man for the job.

wow ellie
yeah that guy was a 'bit' 'unbalanced' to say the least!!!!
funny you said that about electing a democrat to fix things......If you look back in time it is true...that those who are neediest get the shaft when there has been a republican in office....I was, however, really surprised that this whole eastern seaboard practically voted for Obama....pleasantly surprised....I mean it's no secret that those out there with money are mostly voters of the republican....those corporate biggies etc...they like to keep all their wealth in their own pocket....we have too many starving homeless people...children and elderly to keep up the things going on around us....It does have to stop........
I'm excited to see what he does for the country...I'm just glad Bush is gone.
so,,,,,,,any bets as to the kind of puppy those new white house kids are going to get? Lab...Golden...or from a shelter? Diplomatically....from a shelter.....hhmm...we shall see.....
I hope people can relax now that the voting is over and they give this new guy a chance to change things.....It's not like he is the only one running the show.......there's a band of people doing it with him.......so, patience patience patience.........ugh...
the south and the union....and these people VOTE !!!!! good God....help us.
bless us all......dee

I am so happy to see that he has won! I really feel a wonderful energy from him.
The only thing that disappoints me about our country is the proposal of Prop 8. The fact that is was even considered is bad enough, but additionally, the fact that it was actually passed is very disappointing. I thought we were somehow moving forward as a country, but sadly, not in every aspect apparently.
That is interesting that his term ends in 2012. I wonder if he and his 4 years in office leading up to 2012 has anything to do with the major sift that is to come in that year? I'm looking forward to the next couple of years.

It was truly amazing to be a part of history and watch Obama and Biden walk down with their families... the different generation... There was something special on that podium that night and the whole world felt the magic. May the Lord bless each and every member of the cabinet as they surely need it to get the country back to normal. We all need to be positive and pray

Well, I think Obama was placed to help with the shift until 2012. Some are saying he would do two terms. But I think what really is important now is focusing on the matters that need attention. Ending the war, establishing healthier international and local relations, health and benefits, educational and work opportunities... Peace, love, forgiveness, integrity, honesty - the core values of every nation.
As for the Prop 8, we all have to understand the world is not ready yet. The same way it's not completely ready for gifted people like us. Baby steps... We are all taking baby steps. We are the wayshowers and pioneers of the New World. We've done a really great job just being here and choosing to live in this particular lifetime to help bring on the light and usher in this planet's new face.
We have to support this term and be on our toes all the more that we are at the threshold of the change we've all been waiting for.
I'm mighty glad those money and power hungry people are getting a taste of what it's like to be on the other end of the rope.
Thing is, all of us, not just the US, needed a catalyst in order to really want change... Bush was the best catalyst- no matter how bad he was, he did shake us all up... And we all needed that.
I just hope the media and the critics will go easy on Obama. For goodness' sake! He isn't even done settling his cabinet and board members down and they're already at his throat!
But I believe better times lie ahead for all of us. We did great with our collective consciousness shift, people! Give yourselves a big hug! For everyone here who were brave enough to step out of their comfort zones and confront the areas in their lives that needed improvement or healing, I'm with yah!!!
You will receive and be given the blessings which you greatly deserve. The amount of effort we put in everything we do is never wasted especially if we put our hearts into it. We reap what we sow (or is it we sow what we reap? LOL I'm confused now!), we grow what we plant, we receive the fruits of our labor only if we work for it.
So keep believing... As an eternal optimist, we gotta keep going. The future is bright and full of love and peace!
Love and light,
Running Waters
