I know many of you are aware that I'm transgendered...and those who do helped me a great deal in assisting me, emotionally and spiritually, in telling my family. I'm happy to let you all know that everyone in my LARGE family now knows and is supportive (except my parents, unfortunately). I've settled on a name: Angelynn (Angie for short) because I want to be reminded everyday of my life, who's always by my side; the angels (ANGELynn). I'm currently in counseling for hormone approval with an old family therapist who is amazing. For our yearbook photographs the girls had to wear a drape and the boys a tux...I made the decision to wear the drape. I wanted a photograph thats represenative of ME and my spirit. I'm happy I did so...I thought I'd share!

Thank you so much for all of your help. I dont think I'd have the courage to be so open about who I am if it weren't for the angels and this forum!
