Movement slow
Constant, eternally bliss
Innocent leaves gentle to the touch
Gliding through space

With the wind
As shadows
Unto the passing sky
Deep upon the day in open sunshine

This we call the Trail of Innocent Leaves
Leaves, tears, petals to a rose
Adrift upon the wind
With swiftness and beautiful grace

Wind swept words
Of blessed silence
Amidst radiant splendor
Within valleys far and unseen

As time passes
Slowly fading
In a world where innocent leaves gather to rest
And rise into the sky as one.
