I would like to share a tribute to the most wonderful women I have ever known my mom.Today my dear mother would have been 82.She passed away in 2001.
Mom,
I just want to say happy birthday.We were blessed to have you on this earth for 74 years and 4 monthes. I know your life wasnt always easy.You were raised by a single mother during the depression.You looked for love and found it with my dad,who is now celebrating your birthday in heaven with you.You poured all your love into your children and we loved you dearly.It hurt you to see others in pain and did everything you could to give comfort.I will never forget the day you became ill.The words hit me like a frieght train.At that moment without giving it a second thought I decided I was going to do what ever I could to give you comfort.I watched you get better for a while.I was hopeful you would be around for us to give back some of what you gave us over the years.It was not met to be as you had decided it was time to be with the person you found love with all those years before.The phone call came at 3 am.You always said noone calls with good news in the middle of the night.You had again become ill.We held your hand all day.Then on your orders went home to sleep.Again a late night phone call brought us back to your side.We said our goodbyes as you drifted away.You were once again with your love.Thankyou my dear mother for still being by my side when I need you.I see you in your great grandsons smile and hear you in his laughter.I love you mom.Happy birthday.

Ellie ,
I am sorry for your lost and that was a very beautiful tribute to your mom and I know that she is looking down from heaven with a big smile on her face . I too watched a loved one slowly fade and its not an easy task but I made it through it with the help of GOD as He is the first to shed a tear .

Ty chosen1. Today I cried alot She was a beautiful person whom everyone loved.Did you ever hear that song holes in the floor of heaven?Its raining today and the rain are her tears falling down.Not tears of sadness but tears of joy.I also got through with the help of god and his angels.Thanks again.
