hi, my name is joann. I am new at this site, and I already love it.I was raised in a christian home with some knowledge of angels, But have always been drawn too learn and understand more. I recently had a experience in my life where I was praying and feeling very low,due to some serious difficulties I've been going through and I felt a huge angle standing at my bedside. When I opened my eyes I couldn't see him but closed I could. It was like he was standing guard very close to me as I rested.He stayed until I fell asleep. It made me feel better that mabey I am not alone afterall. While freewritting (I call it )after that I had written down that I have an angel thats been with me always and two guides, because I was to have a life of tragedy and loss ect.to help me along my journey, this is all very new to me and some ,kind of contrary to what I was raised to believe, but somehow I feel it's right and good...Is there anyway to comunicate with them and find out there names, mabey get closer to them?? Hi Joann -
Nice to meet you, I am a newbie on here too! No, you are definitely not alone, the angels will always look after you if you ask them to. So just continue listening to your intuition that it is right and good for you, cos it is if you feel that.
As for learning about them and how to communicate with them, Dr. Doreen Virtue has written a lot of great books on the subject, perhaps they were worth reading?

I'm still sort of new myself... but I already know that there are some really nice people here
As for "Is there anyway to comunicate with them and find out there names, mabey get closer to them??" - I think the best way is to simply ask your Angel to tell you his/her name. No special skills needed here Well, maybe except for the ability to really LISTEN, which I think you already have anyway That is exactly what I did and it worked. You just have to remember, that there are countless Angels and your Guardian or any of the Angels coming to you may have a name, which you won't be able to find in any book or literature (just like mine!) or may have a very difficult to remember/pronounce name and will ask you to call him simply 'Steve', for example... Once you get to know your Angel's name, it's much easier to get closer to him/her.

Very nice to meet you joann.........you've had some great experiences with your angels! and from here on in they will only get better and more awe inspiring! Definitely recommend Doreen's books....It is in reading her books that me and my angels chose the 'numbers' to communicate with....it is a daily occurrence and even more than once a day...since at the moment I am going through a major life change and am being SO guided every single step of the way.....
I 'chat' with my angels as if sitting and talking with my best friends...(since they are I guess)...and in reading Doreen's books she will shed a lot of light on learning how to 'see' when they are guiding you and give you a ton of other information as well...as in 'who' to call on when and how and for what reasons you would choose one or another....
SO happy you are here and send your friends as well!!!! Looking forward to many more posts from you.......ask ANY questions you wish...everyone will be more than happy to answer what they can....and remember NO question is too silly...all are welcome! (we've all had them!)
