With the ocean of mist
Offspring of Glacial Falls
River of ice changing form
Pool of destiny
Reflection of dreams and hopes
First light of the stars
Bed of White, vanishing into the unknown
First
Last
Eternal
Sleeping, wrapped in mystery
Beyond the Vail
Beyond nothingness
Where all is sparkling bright
Walkway into Forever More
Drips of Ice
Formed
At first frost
Fresh upon the earth
Gathered in golden cups
Savored
Sipped in flutes of glass
As tears of ancient history
That place
We have all seen
Now forgotten
When life begins
Birthplace of innocence
Capital of creation
Lost in a sea of white
Where rock and glacier mix
Pathway of marble and stone
Rising: fast, slow
Constant
Beneath the Great Gateway of Eternity
