Religious nightmares?

Some are about being killed or not taken to heaven (but not hell).

I had two nightmares/ dreams in one I was being challange that I do not believe in Jesus and blocked me from heaven.

I had a dream I died and my father that past away had to take me up out of my body. But I kept fighting I don't want to die, over and over, and I need to come back..I kept trying to wake up until I finially did.

I do believe in Jesus..but in all truth the whole praying a having faith and healing work best right now when I pray to St Jude. (not just cauze I catholic)..I try to direct praying to Jesus but strange stuff happens.

Sometime my clarity comes even when I just say a positive intentions. I have alot of trouble connecting with Jesus directly. I have had that problem for quite some time. It seems VERY Chirstian always treat me not so nice, but I do respect them and love them.

Maybe on some deep level I worried for my after life?

Many people fear death because they do not know what is going to happen. Simple terms: fear of the unknown. Perhaps you have already answered your question with your last statement.

Jesus doesn't mind if you call on a saint for help and healing. For all I know, he appreciates that you recognize God's other helpers and not just him. However, I think he would also appreciate it if you stop thinking that "strange stuff happens" when you pray directly to him. It might be your own ego trying to block off his wonderful and loving energy from coming to you.

Affirm that Jesus is helping and loving you completely. As manifested in your dream/nightmare that you were being challenged that you do not believe in Christ so is your reality that you are having a hard time calling or praying directly to him.

St. Jude has been one of my patron saints... And yet I am Christian-Methodist by baptism. Always remember that religion is but a veil to true spirituality.

I apreciate your words. They did give me comfort. It may seem obvious to the reader what my issues are, but it is not obvious to me.

Actually, I've learn some other people have trouble when directly praying. I don't think somebody should feel discourged from trying a different way of praying or healing, if things are not going well. Of course I've been on the fringes of the strange.
Someday I will understand what I dream is what I'm going thru but my brain doesn't understand that yet.
However, I do believe and like what you said about
religion being a veil to true spirituality.
