Many years have passed since that day when embers blew far and wide
Ancient lore, native tale, and noble legend speak of the event
Of that Time of Golden Sunsets when flames merged with flames
Of that place foretold where angels rule the sky
Thunderbird rising; gaining form, gathering life
Thunderbird fighting; challenging earth, declaring the throne
Born of innocence washed in the Fountain of Truth
Bred from courage fed upon honor, principle, and duty
Angel immortalized in the dreams of spiritual guides
Angel beloved of the weary and the lost
Guardian of Eternity defending the stairway through the clouds
Consciousness of antiquity championing liberty and hope

To me this has many ways that I can close my eyes and vision....thunderbirds ash and angels and the stairway through the clouds and sky the colors and those that are crossing....
You have a great talent that I always enjoy reading because I can always get a vivid picture of what you write......thanks Dana
