Knowing what our needs are allows us to declare them with a greater sense of assurance. When we have something that we want it can be all too easy to directly state our desires without taking into account the fact that another person may not be all that willing to listen to us. Convincing other people of what we want though, is all about how we proceed in our contentions – if we are open without being belligerent we will be much more successful than if we are argumentative. Conscientiously letting others know how you feel today will yield you positive and constructive results.
