STAYING TRUE TO YOURSELF
by Linda Salazar
Staying true to yourself and your spiritual growth can be challenging when those you're close to are not on the same page as you are.
As you experience wonderful, new insights that make a huge difference in your life, it's normal to want to share everything you've been learning with those who are struggling in their life, with the hopes of helping them.
When someone you know is making choices that are leading them down a path that can bring them great pain, it's natural to want to step in and stop them from continuing down this path.
However, they may not be ready to hear what you have to say and that path may be the exact place they need to be in order to ultimately discover the right path for themselves.
This doesn't mean you can't be true to yourself by expressing your concerns and gently share some insights that might help. The key, however, is to just be willing to say what you believe to be true and have no attachment to their response or ultimate decision.
Part of your spiritual growth is the ability to recognize your truth, embrace it fully, reveal it to others with confidence and respect, while maintaining your compassion when those you care about still choose to continue on a path that isn't necessarily serving their highest good or one you would choose for yourself.
With Love, to all the ppl in this forum who are truly in the search of the divine light within them, who are willing to connect through Spirit with God .....
Blessings,
