But the crow wait and the crow sing a different song

They sing of history and tradition; they await the majesty of office

We who wait but for a sign

Lost in the land of fantasy and sea turtles

Hear a voice crying from the North Shore of Oahu

Waiting by jagged rocks and cuddled up beside pure virgin sands

Come the crow

Who fly between East and West

Come the innocence of our youth

Who waits with the waves to fold with the turning of the earth

For as the waves of mother earth speak

In the torment and the tranquility of paradise

Where golden sands transform into a mist of ascending dreams

So too the same voice of wisdom calms the soul and speaks of natural beauty

We are not the legacy of our past

We listen and we learn; we turn into the future

We see the birds upon the rocks as they laugh and as they cry

We offer a hand to guide their path out upon this distant edge of the world

Some say that when the birds leave that paradise is lost

But Mother Crow peers deep into eternity and says that paradise is safe

Nature nurses its own youth back to health upon the jagged rocks of virgin sands

Where turtles float upon the waves as symbols of purity and health
