This do I imagine as I dwell upon the memory of you

You who hath given so much

You who harken to the voice of our ancestors

Distant truths passed between the ages

Here and now present for a tribute to your life

Here as I listen to the birds and streams

Now as I feel the fresh breeze of the gathering winds

Gazing upon the majesty of natural beauty

Tasting the nectar of paradise within the soul

This shapes the memory

Gives color and depth to existence

Here at the gateway to our elders

Sharing bread in communion between earth and heaven
