Hi everyone,
For years I have had lower abdominal pain.I had a hysterectomy because of fibrods and heavy bleeding.Then last year more surgery.The pain was gone until about a month ago and now it is back worse than before I had any surgery.Then there is the bleeding.I wont go into detail but I am worried.I had a colonoscopy earlier this year and all was clear.I have a drs appointment next thursday.Right now the pain is pretty bad . I can not stand another abdominal cat scan.They make me drink this horrible stuff then shoot me up with something that makes me feel lke I wet my pants.It causes flushing all over.Then I always get sick on the way home. Who comes up with these barbaric tests?I think someone gets paid to sit in an office somewhere and think up ways to torture people who are already sick.I need healing in so many ways.I had to break out the comfort movie last night.The one movie that always makes me laugh no matter how many times I see it.It has 2 classic comic genuises in it.John Candy and Steve Martin.Its Planes Trains And Auto mobiles.If anyone has never seen this movie you have missed out.I love the seen where Steve Martin confronts the lady at the airport because the care he rented was not there and he had to walk a mile back to the terminal.Just get this movie and at least have a laugh.Ok well god bless

how wonderful you still find humor when feeling so poorly....Reiki for you hon....just allow it to flow and thank God for his incredible gifts......Steve Martin is classic isn't he? Love him in all his movies....try to relax and allow the reiki to flow ok....take deep breaths and imagine that white light flowing into the crown and through your body...I just did a session on my sister who is having wisdom teeth out in about an hour.....I did it for her daughter a few months back...she is 7 and had 7 teeth pulled....(evidently this kid had way too many teeth in her mouth...) well....to make a long story short...she was hungry an hour after her surgery and went to school the next day.....Reiki?
I think so.....I've seen it at work....and it is truly amazing! So my dear lady.....please relax with it and let it do it's stuff....in fact...relax ...do deep breaths...and ask the spirit of reiki to flow through you and into your hands....and put those hands on your area of pain...feel the energy...feel the warmth...and ask the spirit of reiki...( Raphael is with me and telling me to have you call on him as well)...ask the reiki to relax and give you peace....ok....you've nothing to lose and a whole lot to gain........you'll feel it....we can all feel it....also....white eagle says taking tai chi...or Qi Gong....will help you immensely....no need to spend money on a class...You can buy the DVD's and do it at home.....they are super for aligning our energies and balancing our energies and chakra's.....again...nothing to lose right?
things are going to get better for you Ellie...so they tell me!

Ellie,
I'm so sorry to hear you're aren't feeling well. I certainly haven't had any Reiki training, but I'm praying for you and sending healing any way I can...You know I really believe that stress can bring illness and pain...or make any condition so much worse. Try to have one stress free day...I know that's not easy...
I had a reiki treatment when I was doing chemo, and I know it helped.
I think it's a brilliant idea to watch funny movies...I love John Candy and Steve Martin...when I was home on chemo I watched the comedy channel...never did that before.
I'm sending you love and picturing you in a healing golden light...feel yourself getting better.

Maureen....can I ask you something about chemo? I am volunteering at our local hospital and want to go the the cancer center which is a part of our hospital...they have started giving the people hand massages while doing chemo and I would like to know what it is you experience while sitting there? I know nothing ...absolutely nothing about the process...and while doing hand massages the reiki flows all on it's own...meaning I don't call on it...it just flows....a gift from God...and he knows what's best for the person......so, can you give me some clarity on this? I would SO appreciate it...and it would enlighten others as well......

I also believe stress can bring about illness...in fact they say we bring on all our own illness......it's such an involved thing....and hard to grasp when you've tried to live your life as a good caring person....and we see the sweetest people get very ill.....but there is so much involved in it all....and it just doesn't seem fair to see the nicest people become sick......I just have to trust in Jesus and God...and know that there is a reason........somehow there's a reason........

Hi Dee,
I'll try to answer your question...You are there for about 4 hours...in my case anyway...You are a bit sleepy because they put benedryl in with the chemo. You doze, read, some watched movies, ate snacks..It's not unpleasant at the time; you get sick later.just boring..My husband always came with me so we chatted. I was always thrilled when outsiders came in when a prayer or even the smallest treat...for a holiday maybe..It was lovely knowing that someone actually cared for you. I think the hand massages would be wonderful. bless you.

| In my case I was in there with about 20 others...all in recliners...with one or two extra chairs each for "guests." Actually it's much more cheerful than you would think. I found most cancer patients to be pretty happy ...as one lady told me (she had terminal lung cancer.) I'm always glad to wake up and know I have one more day.

I just want to say thankyou again for all the prayers.You all are incredible.My dear friend Judy had cancer.She had breast cancer.They found it in the very earliest stage possible.It was in one of her ducts.They found it because she had a routine mammogram.She had some chemo and now she is fine.My dad had lung cancer.After he survived colon cancer.He died from the lung cancer.Well he had an autoimmune disease that caused him to have to many red blood cells and not enough white,When he got pnemonia the tumor,which was small, was in a place where it wouldnt let the pnemonia out and with out white blood cells he couldnt fight the infection so he died.I have some other news I was finally able to talk to Joe.I told him how I felt and that this hurt me.He said he was really worried about money,and his car is leased and if he gos over the milage it will cost alot of money.Also his son needs him alot right now.I can except all of this for the most part.However he plays golf 2 miles from my house on monday nights and he hasnt come over when he is in town.He was ticked off because I left him a message telling him I was disappointed that he didnt come over last night.I told him I was not going to beg him.I am better than that.I told him if he would make a little more effort I wouldnt have to be complaining to his voice mail.He said he loves me and he will try but is not making any promises.I told him that in the mean time I am going to make plans for dreams I have.He didnt say anything.So I dont know if we made progress but hey we talked.Thanks again for everything I love ya all.

just one note Ellie........If he is so worried about money....golf isn't a cheap hobby......and we all need a hobby...but....
Priorities....sounds like me and my husband...we have very different priorities.....you're doing the right thing by speaking your mind...It gives you strength...and pride......and don't let anyone take that away from you! You hang in there...He does love you....that means alot......

I agree golf is not a cheap hobby.What I cant figure out is if he does not want a committment why does he stay in the relationship?Is it fair that he wants me around for when he is ready and if we take a break,he does not want to chance losing me all together?Does this make sense?I am done guessing.I just need to give this too my angels and see what happens.I relly treasure each and everyone of you.You all have wonderful hearts and I am so glad my angels led me to all of you.Godbless

Hey Ellie, I read about your problem, I pray for you and send healing, there is definitly ways you can get relief from your situation. Doctor do the strangest things. Reiki can help, Just let the healing sink in and if you can focus on your breathing. Try to breath in 5 out 7, and let the healing in and the worry go.
That thai chi sounds like a good bet. As well,

Hi everyone,
My twin sister has been hospitilized while on a short vacation to cape cod.She apparently has food poisening and some sort of infection.I have not been able to get anymore news than that. I called her and she was with the dr.So I will try back in about 20 minutes or so.Jennifer, thank you for the prayers.and the jind words.I love all of you here.You are all the best.

My sister has been released from the hospital.She is doing better.She is staying in capecod for one more night.How scary to have that happen far from home.Liz is my twin sister but its odd we have never really had that twin connection I dont think.We fought like cats and dogs as kids.I do love her though.Thank you for all your prayers and love.
