Hi everyone,
Please pray for my older sister. Her husband broke his leg almost 3 weeks ago.He is doing amazingly well. The thing is I think she is starting to break down. She works and gos to the rehab facility to see him then comes home and falls into bed every night. She is so sad without him.I tried to tell her he would be home soon and then she could relax some. She was crying on the phone last night.I felt real bad for her. They have been married since 1967.I was 3 when they got married. She doesnt deserve all of this. She came home the other day to find the pump in their well was not working. After she cried she called her son and he drove 2 hrs at 9pm at night to fix it for her and hugged her until she stopped crying.I try to tell her one day at a time. Her priority has to be her husband.I know she is strong but I still worry.
Thanks all and godbless

Ellie,
I will be praying for your sister and her husband. Interesting...I was married in 1967 and my little sister is your age...Of course, my marriage wasn't strong like your sister's ...I will certainly send prayers their way today. It's wonderful to see a marriage that strong . She is blessed to have you for a sister.

Maureen,
Our family tends to have marriages that last.My parents were married over 50 yrs.My sisters and brothers have been with their spouses forever. My marriage was not that strong either. It could have been but it takes 2 and he was not willing to put much into it.If he could have been the guy he was once in a blue moon we would still be together.Very rarely he would do something so nice and awesome and it gave me hope. The rest of the time he was a selfish monster. But, hey thats in the past and I have moved on.I pray he sees the light.I would like to share the story of how my parents got together if I havent before. Its a story of devotion from the begining.Let me know if you want me to share it.Its not typical.Well have a sparkling day.Much love.

Ellie,
I will send love and prayers to your sister and her husband. It's hard to be away from the love of your life, even for a moment... But she is strong and will get through this. Her angels are with her! Much love to you and your family...
Kelly
