I was in an abusive relationship before and usually you get to where you feel you are not worthy and have no self esteem and you stay in the bad situation and once you get out you look back and wonder how you did as long as you did. It is as if you are brainwashed. Just be there and be her friend and stand by her. Blessings Dana
As hard as this may sound, your friend is going through this because she has lessons to learn. So just like what Dana said, stay put and continue to be there for her, but let her realize, on her own time, what she's doing with her life.
