Hey everyone! It has been too long. I have a question for everyone... Is it possible for a person to be haunted? And if so how do you know?
The reason I ask is because I firmly believe that I am. By the spirit of my late grandmother. She passed away last year on March 3rd. Ever since she passed away I have been noticing some things and it makes me wonder if her spirit has latched on to me.

lady raven I do not know about this. If I may ask what kind of things are you noticing? I think this would be a good question for Dee or even atomic33..
I do not even have any idea where to look...How are you doing it has been quite awhile..

Doing great! Other than this. There are a few things that are kinda disturbing me. First and foremost are the continuous nightmares. I will have like 5 a night and they are all about her. Thing is when she was alive we never got along because she was obbsessed with me and she liked to spread horrible rumors so the thought of her being in my dreams truly scares me. They all have her chasing me, she looks horribly disfigured..possibly burnt.
The second thing is that everywhere I go, don't care if I am alone or not, I feel that if I so much as turn around she will be there to choke the life out of me. It feels like she is everywhere yet nowhere.
I am also taking into account that I have PTSD because of some things that I was put through at her hand.
Strange things have been happening in the house I share with my husband since she passed as well. Sounds in the attic, and just everywhere in the house. Just earlier a friend was visiting and she saw something move on its own in another room. Scared her half to death!

I have felt the presence of other souls. When my dad died I felt his spirit leave the room. After my son died his mom and I felt him. At first he was very close. Then one day he just ZOOMED out there. HE JUST FLEW. I still feel him once in a while. He is fine.
In your case I think you ought to pray to your angels and God and ask them to ease your anxiety about everything. I was reading Doreen Virtue's book called "Divine Guidance" last night and she says that your guardian angels will do ANYTHING if it is good for you. But you have to ask. UNLESS you are in a deadly situation and then they can intercede on your behalf if it is not time for you to die. Anyway she says that they will even find a good parking place for you.
I'd give them a try.

There is still a lot of healing for you to do, maybe? Perhaps her death has not given you the peace you wanted with her when she was still alive. So I think this has a lot to do of you forgiving her. When you have done so, then her spirit (whether or not she really is haunting you) will be at peace as well.

how intense for you!!!!!!!!!
the fact that she was such a terror in your life 'could' mean she IS there..or...there is someone else there....If nothing bad is happening in the house don't worry about it...you can ask any spirit there to leave you all alone...that it is 'your' house now and you will not tolerate any more activity....You could and should ask for Michael to step in and put his foot down on your behalf...IF the activity is TOO much for you and gets more active I know how you can contact someone in your area to help you...
this woman sure did make your life a living hell I can see......for what ever her reasons were...they were wrong and not OK.....
It would be good if you can get to someone for a reading.....someone who you can bring a picture of this woman to and can relate to you what her intentions were and can help you to resolve this....I can tell you first hand that there was a man in my family who 'raped' his sister...and then would make his daughter allow his friends to touch her............this to me was SO SO sick...and made me sick enough to vomit when I heard all about it........also found out that he had his hands around my mother's neck at one time after I had moved out on my own......he was a bad bad person..evil to me.......
a couple years ago, I went to see someone...and brought a picture of my brother and this uncle with me to see what this man could tell me....we talked about a lot of things and then I gave him the picture of my uncle....and he just looked at me as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing...and proceeded to tell me that my uncle had not moved on....he was in the 'first' borderland as I will call it, after death....my uncle told him he was appauld at the things he had done in his life here and that he couldn't move forward from it because he didn't deserve it...( there was more to this all...but you get my drift)....it came to a place of me feeling 'bad' for this man...this evil nasty person who did evil nasty things here.......I felt sad for him...because after we pass all those bad things we have done we 'see' clearly ....the sickness that made him DO those things were gone...but that memory of all of it,,,including the pain HE caused so many people didn't go....they were there and he felt all of it...so, I was actually crying for this person...feeling bad for him...(how could I DO THAT?) how could I feel bad for that man after I knew what he did.......I still don't know myself...but I did....sobbed like a baby for him........
i think it was because I knew just how awful he felt...and that the nasty person he was here he wasn't anymore.......so, this wonderful psychic who I was sitting with suggested 'we' help my uncle pass over into a better place....and we did....we did prayers and some rituals...and the energy in that room felt like a tornado was in the room......just swirling around and around.....and it made me cry even harder.....
I think that day was the very first time I 'really' knew what forgiveness was all about...I could see how Jesus forgave all those people who put him through all those awful awful things and then put him on a cross........If GOD and Jesus can forgive all of us for all our 'stuff'...whether they are huge mistakes or small....we are all forgiven in the end..."they know not what they do"...well...sometimes they DO know what they are doing....but, forgiveness is huge...and 'if' you can forgive I can tell you that it is an amazing feeling ....a freedom of sorts....it takes burdens away...bad thoughts ...and it will also give you some honest peace in your heart......
( I KNOW my uncle felt ashamed of his actions...and if he could go back and take all the pain he caused away, he would) maybe that is why I could forgive him...???
anyway.......I think you so need to find some peace with this woman...and I also feel you 'can'...try not to hate her....even though we are justified in wanting to...no one has the right to be evil and nasty to anyone....but we have all done something in this life or another I'm sure or we wouldn't be coming back lifetime after lifetime......
if you need help finding someone ......let me know.....love you.....dee

Lady Raven,
I have been led to understand that angels WILL do things for you. Things like protect you. I also believe that there are situations where they will intervene on your behalf even if you don't ask for their assistance. Things like pick up your car and move it out of the way of an oncoming semi tractor trailer. Or land a piper cub if you lose consciousness while piloting it.
That said, I agree with Dee that in order to best gain divine guidance one needs to ask carefully. I agree that asking for guidance on how to....loose weight or stop a bad habit is better than just asking for them to DO it.
Just a bit of clarification.

Hello again.......
to paul.....I don't think I made myself clear about the angels 'doing' things for us......when I said that I meant...as in 'if we need something, they won't just 'give' it or do it for us...but they will guide us when we take the steps to heading forward in the process'...but...they absolutely do as you said, intervene when we are in danger...and I know people who have had those sort of miracles happen to them....just wanted to make myself clear...I know how things can come across 'wrong' in writing....they have protected me a few times in the past when I was not being very smart in my actions...which could have actually ended up in my death......Thank GOD for those angels huh? !!!
saffron, I do feel Doreen V. would have answers to all the questions you have on the subject of angels...
Faye: TOO FUNNY honey......yeah, wish they could pull of that one for me!!!! can't remember how long it's been since I had a tight belly?? UGH

was thinking about you again and how you said you are having nightmares with this woman in them.....you can and should call on all your angels and guides right now.....also, Michael to shield you as you sleep....YOU have control over this not her..you just need to learn how to take the control.....
when we go to sleep we can send out some suggestions before hand...first you can, as I said, call on those angels to keep you from any outside influences....also lady, give your 'higherself' the ok to take control over the dreams and only allow those things for your highest good to come through.....dreams are not only about guidance....dreams can be for many things as well.....we can be very busy while we dream.....guidance is just one part of it..we can be visited while in a dream state...we also learn through that state as well...Is there anyone near you who can give you some guidance through a reading????? This angel site does readings and they are wonderful...I've known a few who have had a reading done through this site and were very very pleased ! I'll see if I can find any more info for you somewhere my library of books....I have quite a few now. Ask for guidance in this hon...don't go it alone...let those angels guide you to what needs to be done. but as I said before....you have the control now...you just need to feel your power...and tell that woman she has nothing over you any more!

Thank you all for such wonderful advice! I have been so distraught and confused with all that has been happening that I haven't been able to think all that clearly.
Forgiveness is a wonderful thing, once it can be achieved. Just recently spoke with my therapist and she also gave me some good advice I thought I would share, she told me to go into meditation and see her as a child and try to find compassion and forgiveness in that way. By seeing the way things were for her growing up as she did. From what I have heard she had a fractured childhood. Even though it gave her no right to take it out on me.
My thing now is just overall healing.

When she passed I went to her funeral looking for answers and closure but none could be found. I so wish things had been different. I longed for it for so long until I realized that it wouldn't happen in either of our lifetimes

It's what I'm afraid of --- my grandma passing away without me really making peace with her. So I'm trying my best to have a good relationship with my Lola (that is grandma in my native tongue).
She has been very cruel to my mom and did some bad stuffs to us kids when we were growing up. Though I know she sometimes took care of us when both my parents were working, it feels like I'm stuck with my own mother's hurts because of her.
Now I live with her, and am trying my best to at least have chit chats with her...
Still...
Forgiving sometimes takes a lot of time. And you know, you don't have to carry this over in the next lifetime. I believe you still have the power to let go of the hurts you have with her even if she's on the other side already. Don't wait for the next lifetime to patch things up with her.
