there are chakras in our palms as well.  you have been attuned to reiki and you can draw the symbols into your palms (it doesn't matter how well you draw the symbols, nobody knows but you,) anyways, along w/drawing the symbols, you can chant the mantras of each symbol (just say the name of each symbol you have been given 3 times [this makes it more powerful; you can even draw the symbols in the air in front of you imagining a white light],) and we have ear chakras.  i didn't know this until recently.  i found that in an earlier work of Doreen Virtue's that was suggested to me by one of the staff at angeltherapy.com.  she had a nice little exercise to clear the ear chakras.  this instance demonstrates clearly that if your ear chakras are clear, then you will be more likely to hear better; i take that to mean you would be able to be more clairaudient (a psychic sense,) and hear words, sounds, bells, anything, from your angels or even deceased loved ones, ascended masters, spirit guides, guardian angels, etc.  when your chakras are balanced, you will be more psychic and/or intuitive.  everything is all off when your chakras aren't balanced.  you can even use tools to balance your chakras, such as a pendulum or stones.  i have a pendulum and a chakra set w/stones i ord'd off EBay really cheap; anyhow, i keep getting off track here; i learned about the chakras right before i was attuned to reiki level 1 and 2.  no one could explain it simply in writing like Sonia Choquette did in one of her earlier books.  although i haven't read this book, i think perhaps Doreen Virtue (The Angel Lady) who i am a huge fan of, has written a book and maybe even has a guided cd on chakra balancing.  i recommend you read everything you can of hers.  some books are better than others but she has written some phenomenal books.  while you are learning though, it is important for you to just get John Holland's cd and start there.  i got so into this, i even got attuned to ascension reiki and other attunements.  i took it further and created crystal grids that mean to me, which is important, what it all means to us personally, getting back to the grids again: my grids are beautiful crystal points, a master crystal which looks like a phantom crystal (Doreen Virtue wrote a great book Crystal Therapy: she makes everything so easy,) and these other really expensive stones that are specifically for reiki; so i found this grid pattern on the internet, printed it out, laminated it, AND I DECIDED, see, this is important, it was MY INTENT what this grid represented to me.  i learned a little about where to place the crystal points, where to put the master crystal, how to program the crystals and placed them on my grid.  this grid is kind of like an ascension grid where i am reaching God's consciousness and that's exactly what reiki means to me and it feels like.  i have been attuned to kundalini reiki and it was unbelievable what VISIONS i had.  so as you progress in your spiritual development, you will have unbelievable experiences.  one time i just smelled a flower in the woods; i knew nothing earthly smells like that.  it was Spirit.  another time laying in bed, doing self-treatment reiki, i smelled it again.  there were no flowers in my bedroom or anywhere because i have a Siamese cat and can't have nice things anymore because of him, anyhow! there was also a change in PRESSURE, as i've seen posted on this board.  that's how it feels, around your neck, it's the air/atmosphere or something! it's a presence, that is Spirit.  so don't be afraid of these things as they are wonderful gifts to us on Earth.  i am very happy to hear you have a horse.  i had a horse.  i am also thrilled you have found a wonderful reiki teacher.  it does not take long to learn so that you get going. it does take PATIENCE, which apparently is one of my life's lessons and many of our other earthly friends here on this planet.  all this stuff takes time and commitment.  all of us have to assign certain portions of our days to certain things.  we have so much to learn and that's why we are here on this forum and on the planet.  i had amazing experiences with John Holland's cd from Psychic Navigator.  being attuned to reiki made it just so fantastic.  as i mentioned before, The Breath is very important.  you will learn that in the cd.  we have to remember to commit to daily meditation or if that does not resonate with us, that's fine too.  it took me at least 6 months to quiet my mind.  the only thing that worked was Japa meditation and Dr. Wayne Dyer has a book and cd for that.  that will really quiet you down lololol!!!!!!! so that's how i really learned.  nothing else worked.  i live in Los Angeles heehee so it's pretty tough to quiet down rofl.  so Seablue all of this seems overwhelming but you will one day very soon be calm, experience all these wonderful angelic happenings and you will be grateful and radiate this to the world.  you will learn about the Laws of the Universe, including the Law of Attraction, which i suggest you start studying real hard.  to make it easier: i just got a card deck from Esther and Jerry Hicks called the Law of Attraction card deck.  see, there are tricks to learning stuff fast if you buy cds and card decks.  then you can read the books if you want or read the books first.  also what helped me is Hayhouseradio.com.  because you are curious you will learn it all and be a teacher.  that's what happens when we learn a little bit we want to "share" what we learned even if the other person doesn't want to hear about it, but usually they do.  i'm referring to the guy i live with lolololol.  he has to listen to me omg.  i am praying and asking AA Michael to come down and assist you with your chakra balancing.  that's what AA Michael does: restores you to your perfect health.  if he can do that he can help balance your chakrastill you get your books, classes, workshops, it never stops Seablue.  i wish i could explain chakra balancing but i can't download my photo.  there are other chakras and they each are associated with a specific purpose.  getting back to the root chakra, which is red; when it is balanced, (focus on the root chakra, seeing it spinning red, glowing, with a white light underneath, glowing through); anyhow, Seablue, you will hear a million different interpretations of these guided meditations; they are all the same, only slight differences.  you will be learning new things all the time.   but the red root chakra has to do with your survival, your housing, enough to eat, that kind of stuff>>>>ALL OF IT IS CONNECTED.  thank God you have reiki.  anyone that has reiki has to self treat otherwise we are not okay.  you will have amazing experiences with reiki that lead to other amazing experiences and finally, with reiki attunements you are more psychic!
