Hi moonspell! sorry I took so long ...my DSL has been troubleshooting for the longest time making it difficult to even check my email...
It took me a while (4 months) to find my teacher. I googled around my city/county. When I came across my Master/Teacher things just seem to happen. Besides money distance was a factor for me and not having a babysitter too. When I finally made contact with my M/T I had the most amazing dream - that night.... I dreamt that both my palms were hot and a pure white light/more like energy came out from my palms and I didn't know what to do. My husband helped me to focus the beams away from me towards an object - I woke up feeling the heat and realising what was happening to me!!! When I mentioned this to my M/T she said that it was a sign.... She also told me that when she heard my voice over the phone her Spirit/Reiki guides told her to pay extra attention to me - and the most amazing thing was that she came all the way over to my house and gave me my Reiki I & II attunements for half the fee she charges!!!
What I mean is look out and your guides/angels will direct you to the person who will be helping you if this is your life's journey.... 4 months ago I had no clue what Reiki was all about!!

Dee I was meaning to tell you ..... a while ago you had mentioned that you were reading 'Essential Reiki -A complete guide to an ancient healing art' by Diane Stein and had recommended it to anyone interested in Reiki. Well of all the authors I did choose her and it so happened that my Master/Teacher is one of her student/good friend!! Isn't that something?

HHhhmmmmm.........wasn't me who was reading that book???? Don't know who it was either......but,....just reading your post about the woman who did your attunements.....there are some really awesome stories like yours about how things seem to work out sometimes.......cool dream. today I was at breakfast with my sister and mother and I was talking to them about something I did yesterday called a "Oneness Blessing"....it is a lot like a reiki attunement in that it is an 'energy' connection to the Divine...sort of hard to explain...but, these people who trained in Tibet go all around the area and it is like I said a connection to the vibration and energy to God and it is such an incredible surge of energy when they touch your head....I kept 'zoning out' like in deep meditation and then would come back to the here and now and say ...ok...and then zone out again.......my body felt hollow and was like a shell and it was as if the inside of me was just a swirl of fast moving energy....white...nothing else.......weird and cool........we sat in a circle and closed our eyes and while we were focusing on breath is when they went around the circle and did this....this one guy was from Tibet and just came here a few days before...when he put his hands on my head it was so much more than a surge...I was just energy....and felt like he and I were the same energy......can't explain it well but that's close enough for you to get the picture....so, if you ever hear of a "oneness" blessing going on somewhere you will now know what it is and may want to give it a shot......
I keep forgetting to ask you about when you were given your attunement....like...when I was being attuned and she was touching me I could feel the energy enter me through my crown area....and it was as if I was engulfed in a column of white light and energy....like a pillar...all the way down my body into the ground.....it was quite emotional too....tears just streamed down my cheeks...from just a joyous place...I felt like I was finally a 'child' of God...those really aren't the right words either...but....just very emotional........my cousin didn't feel much at all...but she isn't emotional either........when her and I are on the phone both of us laugh because our hands start throbbing....and heating.....have you ever been around someone and that starts to happen? there was a woman having a coughing fit in the store one day and I sent reiki to her and she finally stopped........who knows???
so, some day you'll have to share your experience if you don't mind....she sounds like a great woman.....the kind of woman you would WANT to do your attunement.......my M/T is great...she means alot to me.........and you should know that she will always be there for you....you are like her little 'newborn'...so to speak........there is a connection there........and I assume she will be the one to do your Master attunement?
wondering how your 'cleansing' went?
Boy, am I intruding or what???? sorry to be so nosy...no I'm not !!!! lol

This oneness blessing sounds good and I need it. I'll try to get some info and I also need to join a group of Reiki/Healers in my area.
When I was being given attunement I had this overwhelming feeling of gratitude and a feeling of 'FINALLY!!' -I'm home. My M/T said that she could feeling a surge of gratitude and happiness coming out of me and that my guides were happy and acknowledging it - you see they were getting impatient and wanted me to get attuned as soon as my M/T came into my house. She was like...my goodness they surely are in a hurry....they kept telling her to skip expaining in details as I already knew stuff (I believe they were talking about a past life-she told me that I was a healer once).... but I told her to follow her procedure as I have much to learn. her hands were heating up and she kept saying that I need to give you Reiki II attunement as it was distracting her...it was funny and very personal....
As soon as Reiki I attunement I staggered. I was tingling/shivering/shaking and I just burst out into tears and deep sobs and I was breathing and sighing very deeply. My M/T gave me her hand and told me to ground myself too. I felt as if the Energy was overflowing.... all this experience was new and I had to learn during my session to recognize Reiki energy/feeling. I cried... my tears just kept falling continuously -as if I was cleaning myself internally...
My arms tingle...my shoulder feel as if there is some energy flowing through....my legs tingle ... I get warm and cold feeling....its like a rush/gush/flow... I can actually feel it...
After my Reiki II attunement .... I felt this burst of energy and brightness.... I was hyper sensitive .... I saw/knew 2 symbols..... I started thinking about my sister and I just I was subconsciously sending long distance healing as I started shaking with all the sensations....my M/T said just go ahead and send her some Reiki and to ground the excess... my M/T said that I should be ready to practice Reiki II before the time duration as I've been already doing so (even before I knew about Reiki).
During my session I remember that when I was a child my Dad used to make me put my hands on his forehead or back. He always used to say that he felt good with the warmth/heat - he used to call me the 'hot one' (no pun pls). When I explained this to my M/T she said thats because I used to be a healer once.
I'm sorry guys.....this is a loooooong one..... my hands are tingling... Reiki and blessing to all you guys... this website/message board has helped me so far.....

Funny how you said ...the guides were happy as they were waiting for your attunement to finally be done....during my level I and II we were doing a guided meditation just before the attunemnt process and what you said reminded me of when I met my 'reiki' guides...they were all in a beautiful field...like hundreds of them....with a stone wall all around for miles...the stones made an arch and this arch had a wooden door....why I don't know...but when our M/T asked about meeting our reiki guides after the meditation was over....she asked what , if anything, they said to us......and like yours...mine just looked at me and like one collective thought they said..."What took you SO long! ".......the whole process of the attunement is something I will never forget....the emotions ...the feeling of finally being 'where' I was meant to be and finally getting to this place after all the issues of life that came before the attunement....Almost like seeing your life pass before your eyes........and the cleansing it gives you...your heart feeling lite...the connection with God being like it never has before with the intensity it now has.......and feeling the angels with me day and night.......If that were all an attunement did for me I would be grateful....but,,,,how amazing it is to be what it is and how it affects my being now....
thanks for sharing.......I too, like you, sobbed without control...and I didn't care...It was a huge release and finally coming into my place with GOD...and the reasons for being here now...to be the child he wishes me to be.
my hands are tingling as well...that alone is an awesome feeling.....and like I have said many times before...humbling to say the least......
after that 'oneness' blessing the other day...no one could just get up and get in their car and drive...we were all so 'out' there ....was funny really...and just like the attunement...very humbling...I feel blessed every day I wake up.
and I thank God for this life I have everyday as well.....thanks for sharing.....
the reiki is still coming for Anette...did it last night...and will continue...a daily dose of reiki is a wonderful thing.....she is also in my prayer list for the novena we have been doing.......
