Is there a cleansing after a Reiki 2 attunement like after Reiki 1? I had a phyiscal one after my Reiki 1 that lasted a couple of months.
I was just attuned to Reiki 2 a couple weeks ago.

Hello Sea,
yes there is..but, I look at it as a good thing.....your body is ridding itself of the toxic stuff....not only with your body but emotionally as well..my teacher gave me a 21 day journal to keep...just as a reminder...a diary...you look back and then see just how you've grown. In spirit and as a healer...she had also told me to drink as much water with fresh lemon as I could stand...it helps the process and flushes the toxins easier...to aid in ridding yourself...Glad you are taking this road...with each level, in my experience, my connection to God and angels and guides got much stronger.....Do you feel the difference? Notice more signs? I received level I and II on the same day and can tell you that within 12 hours I had symptoms like that of a flu or real bad cold...but then you can use reiki on yourself and 'ease' the process...ask Raphael to help you through it...so the suffering isn't too intense. I applaud you...It's a great thing to do...do you have plans to open a 'practice'? Or no idea as yet? When you decide to go for the Advanced and Reiki Master Attunement let me know...if you will...would love to share stories!
when I did my I and II...I found it to be such an awesome experience and quite humbling as well...Everyday when I pray and meditate, and send reiki to someone, I thank GOD for allowing me to be in this place of awe during this lifetime...I am the happiest I have ever been because of the connection or should I say connections I have made with Him and the angels...So many wonderful, awesome things are ahead of you...and I smile with my eagerness for you to see just how great your future is going to be...

| I had an intense cleansing after Reiki 1 but not noticing too much after reiki 2 yet. I'm finding out who I am as time goes by. And I think yes, I would like to do treatments on people. I feel like my life contract is that of a lightworker.

The cleansing I experienced after my level I attunement was a physical cleansing,I was sick to my stomach for almost a week.The cleansing I experienced after my level II attunement was more of an emotional cleansing, I cried alot for no reason at the drop of a hat.This lasted for almost three weeks. Each person is different though,in how they respond to the cleansing periods with each level.Some don't experience anything at all.

Greetings, with my Reiki I attunement I experienced throat congestion and not much more than that .. no discomforts. My Master Teacher, who was available by phone said that depending on which chakra was most blocked you may feel some reaction in the cleansing period 21 days. That answer felt good for me and is still true today as my throat chakra gets blocked most. My Reki II attunement I didn't feel anything to recall that difficult or uncomfortable but just a greater energy power in healing. My Reiki III attunement I felt so much extreme Peace, Love and Balance. Indeed we all feel and recieve differently and thats what makes Reiki so special..it is always what you are needing it is not that you get what you want or what you ask but what is needed. NOW DOESN'T THAT SEEM LIKE HOW GOD ANSWERS OUR PRAYERS..HE GIVES WHAT HE WANTS US TO HAVE FOR OUR HIGHEST BEST..HMMM a thought to think on!
