After my Aunt in New York underwent surgery, my cousin is admitted to the hospital for eye infection. We were told just now that she might lose her vision.
Both of them have undergone painful experiences. My aunt's husband has attacked them in 2005 and stabbed my cousin. He is still in jail but our family fears my aunt will take him back after he serves time because she still loves him.
My Aunt has suffered greatly and so has her daughter. They both need to heal and try as we can to reach out to them, they have become so numb.
Now my cousin is in danger of losing her vision on one eye. She is lost and confused and angry.
Please send reiki, prayers, positive thoughts and whatever you all can. PLEASE.
I feel I am weak at the moment, I'm still pulling myself out of my own trials.
But I believe.
I truly do.
I believe that healing will take place completely within our family, and within myself.
I would want to go to her and talk to her and comfort her and be the big sister she has always had- We grew up together... Back in the Philippines... And everything that happens to her affects me and everyone in our family.
Please help me pray.

The doctors were amazed!

I rejoice with you for the miracle of your cousin's vision. And I'm so sorry to hear your aunt and cousin have been through so much. Your poor cousin, all of this must have been awful for her. So glad all the prayers for her were heard. And she is lucky to have you looking after her, even from far away.
I didn't see this post before. I've been running near empty myself in recent weeks, so I can relate to that…asking others to pray because you just don't have the strength. But I know we're both coming around and on to better times.
I'll remember your family in my prayers. No matter what has happened, what mistakes were made, what hurt has passed, what counts is that love is enduring.

Thank you RedBird... My cousin PJ is still taking steroids to help though but I believe she'll be completely totally really healed. Not just from this eye thing, but from everything she has gone through with my Aunt.

But I knew I was an old soul even when I was younger.
I'm 25.

sorry if i sound nosy, you don't have to answer my questions. what kind of strange things? and how did you know you were an old soul? i'm very curious about all of this! your help is very appreciated. thanks!
i looked up old souls on google... and they said that old souls are generally more wiser and stronger than young souls. and that there are certain characteristics that apply to old souls... is that right?

LOL.
You know, in the grand scheme of things, no one is wiser or stronger... As we old souls learn so much from young souls and vice-versa.
Just because we are stronger and wiser also doesn't mean we are not fragile. We get broken too, and we need young souls (like you, perhaps? Do you think you are a young soul?) to teach us how to be young again: to be curious about things, to laugh without reason, to be innocent again.
So you see, there's balance... We are all teachers and we are all learners. A mother nurtures her child as a child nurtures her mother. You give and you receive...
This balance is what we are trying to create, to give birth to in the coming Age. Many would be looking up to the skies thinking it would fall or something, many would say... oh it's on 2012... Something big is going to happen.
Truth is, it's already happening now.
It's all in the matter of recognizing it. Again, trusting yourself.
