I had quite a few reiki healings from different reiki healers, but one was very different. She would draw the symbols on my back and head several times with her hands. It felt very spiritual as she was doing it. She also would brush my arms and legs with her hands going downward. I was wondering if anyone does this especially drawing the symbols on the body?
At the beggining of my sessions,I draw the symbols over my clients crown chakra.As for the brushing,I brush over the body from head to toe, at the conclusion of the session.It clears harmful,or disharmonious energies from the aura that may have been released from the body during the Reiki session,as well as smooths the arua and gets the energy flowing.
Karen, 7AngelReikiMaster here. We as Reiki Healers have our own uniqueness but always the healing should come from Love. Love is pure and good. You should never feel uncomfortable and never forced. Using of the Reiki symbols can be hand drawn in any sequence or be being sent to you in the healing session by the Reiki Healers thought and intention. Either way it is all good and all acepting. I usually brush the Aura after Healings or even my Massage session to even the energy out and brush off any residual debris. The outcome of your session or in the days following will be what was needed for you. If some feel no real results to be noticable then there may be a time still coming when you will feel the benefit. I have had that happen to some but always some good response. It is sort of like a Prayer..the answer may not be immediate but it will always be answered.
