Several years ago I took the Reiki 1 class. I never used it professionally but did so on my children and pets. A few years later I took Reiki 2 but after that never really used it. Is there any time limit I should be aware of to practice Reiki?
The evening after Reiki 1 my ears were ringing with a high pitch tone. I was a bit nervous about this but by the next day it ended. I have always wondered about this.
I once had a dream that I gave Reiki to a musician rock star whom I am a great fan. We were in a restaurant and I put my hands over his lower back and there was an outline of my hands that appeared on his lower back. Somewhat like the aura from my cupped hands. I am hoping that I sent him healing through the dream state.
Hi Butterflyfromwithin, I'm 7AngelReikiMaster and to answer your first question about Reiki and how long - well there is no set time per say to use and if you don't use it much. You will always have the healing energy with you once attuned. The more you use it the greater it grows with you and better you get at it. It will be different every time at least it has been for me for the past 10 years now. I am always amazed. Reiki I is to be used on yourself and directly on others, so keep at it. Reiki II is a stronger healing vibration one on one and also for distant healings. Yes you can heal in your dreams. I do it all the time. I find that even when I don't think of anyone or anything particular and if a dream includes me doing Reiki then when I awake I send a distant healing also.
