At the same time I am troubled to see stories of food riots in Haiti, and read of prices rising out of reach for staple foods in the poorest parts of the world. I have a very uneasy feeling in the pit of my gut about the global food situation. Please help me in praying that God will help us avert famine in the world.

I'm with you DT....there should never be people on this planet in this day and age where they don't have food yet there are many who have millions and don't do anything with it.........If we all got together and prayed for this situation..It WILL make a difference .....we need to put our good energies towards this and other situations in this world if we want to turn it around...the fate of our planet is in our own hands and just sitting by and not acting on it makes us a guilty party...so, I join you DT...and please everyone join in as well....this is dire and needs our love and prayers....thanks DT for bringing this to our attention.....bless you

| i am with you too..DT and Dee.. it is amazing how much food we waste here sometimes without thought of the needy ...i do however.. thank God everyday for our daily food and pray like both of you to eradicate hunger in the world.. most of all.. the children without food and proper medical help. Hoping that we can see in our day..this miracle ....bless you both...

ThE world food situation definitly needs OUR prayers. In this age of "advance techny stuff" we need to really solve the food crIsis on this earth.
I've heard in the news some sort of Program to give every child a Laptop..haaa, haaa.
How about given every child complete source of protein as well as a anything that has essentail fatty acids..Eggs, Nuts, Fish...
THe county needs to stop spend money on finding life on Mars, ....PLEASE FEED PEOPLE ..NOT JUST RICE OR BREAD!

I say put your money where your mouth is........
It's all well and good to "talk" about the fact that no child in this world should ever go hungy.
However if you want to actually be part of the SOLUTION to this problem, than it takes ACTION on your part in the form of a FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION.
Why not contribute TODAY to FEED THE CHILDREN. It is a wonderful non-profit organization dedicated to providing food, water, medicine and clothing to children here in the United States and around the world.
